Overview
Your Beam profile is what clients and companies see when they visit your personal Beam link. It shows your expertise, your hourly rate, and your available booking options. Keeping it accurate and well-written directly affects how often you get booked and how well you're matched in the Lead Pool.
How to edit your profile
1. Open Settings Click your profile picture in the bottom-left corner of the Beam interface and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
2. Navigate to Profile Find the Profile section in your Settings. This is where all your public-facing information lives.
3. Update your information Edit any of the following:
Profile photo
Name and headline
Bio and areas of expertise
Hourly rate
Languages
4. Save your changes Click Save when you're done. Changes are reflected on your public profile immediately.
What makes a strong Beam profile
Be specific about your expertise Vague bios don't get matched. The more specific you are about the types of AI challenges you've navigated, the better Beam's algorithm can match you to relevant questions.
Write for the person reading it Your profile is read by business leaders who need help — not by recruiters or peers. Write in plain language that explains what you've done and what problems you can solve.
Keep it current If your focus areas shift or you take on new types of work, update your profile. Stale profiles lead to poor matches.
