Overview
When a client books a session, they pay upfront. Beam collects and holds that payment securely until the session is completed, then pays it out to you at the end of the month minus the 10% platform fee.
Beam acts as the intermediary in the payment flow — not as a bank, and not as a party with any claim on your earnings. The money flows through Beam to get to you cleanly and compliantly. That's it.
How the money flows
1. Client pays at booking The full session amount is collected by Beam at the time of booking. The client's payment is held securely.
2. Session is completed Once the session takes place, the payment is confirmed as completed.
3. Beam deducts the platform fee Beam deducts its 10% platform fee from the completed session amount.
4. You receive the remainder The remaining 90% is transferred to you at the end of the month via a single payout to your registered bank account.
What Beam can and can't do
Beam can collect payments from clients on your behalf, hold them securely between booking and payout, deduct the platform fee, and transfer your earnings to your registered bank account.
Beam cannot access your personal bank account, move money out of your account, or withhold your earnings without cause. Your payout is processed automatically at the end of each month for all completed sessions.
Common questions
Can Beam take money from my bank account? → No. Beam only transfers money to your registered bank account — never from it.
Is my money safe while Beam holds it? → Yes. Payments are held securely between booking and payout.
What if Beam withholds my payout? → Payouts are processed automatically for all completed sessions. If there's an issue with your payout, Beam will notify you by email. Contact support if you believe there's an error.
Can Beam cancel my payout? → Only in cases of disputed sessions or platform policy violations. Standard completed sessions are always paid out.
What happens to my money if I delete my account? → Contact Beam support before deleting your account to ensure any pending payouts are processed correctly.
Do I need to do anything to receive my payout? → Just make sure your payment details in Settings are complete and accurate before the end of the month.
