No-shows happen. On Beam, you're protected from them because clients pay at the time of booking — not after the session. Your time has value and the upfront payment model reflects that.
What happens if a client doesn't show
If a client books a session and fails to show up without cancelling in advance, the session is treated as completed on your side. You showed up. You held the time. That counts.
Contact Beam support to report the no-show. Beam will review the situation and handle the payment accordingly. In most cases, you receive your payout for the session as normal.
How to protect yourself
Show up on time Join the session at the scheduled time and wait a reasonable amount of time — at least 10-15 minutes — before marking it as a no-show. This gives you a clear record that you were present and ready.
Report promptly Contact Beam support as soon as possible after the missed session. The sooner you report, the faster it gets resolved.

Do I still get paid if a client doesn't show up? → In most cases, yes. Clients pay upfront at booking. Contact Beam support to report the no-show and confirm your payout.

Can I leave a review or flag a no-show client? → Beam tracks no-show patterns internally. Repeat offenders are flagged on the platform side.
