Overview
You don't chase invoices on Beam. When a client books a session, they pay upfront. Beam holds the payment securely and pays you out at the end of each month after your session is completed. No Stripe account needed. No PayPal. No manual invoicing.
How it works
1. Client pays upfront at booking When someone books a paid session with you, they pay at the time of booking. You don't need to send an invoice or follow up. The payment is collected and held by Beam.
2. Session is completed Once the session happens, the payment is confirmed as completed on Beam's side.
3. You get paid at the end of the month Beam processes all payouts at the end of each month. You receive a single transfer covering all completed sessions from that month.
4. Beam handles the invoicing Beam generates EU-compliant e-invoices automatically for every transaction. You don't need a separate invoicing tool.
Before your first payout
You need to complete your payment details in Settings before Beam can transfer your earnings. Go to Settings and fill in your billing information — name, address, and bank details. If you're billing through a company, tick "This payment is for a company."
Your payment details are confidential and never visible on your public profile.
Common questions
Do I need a Stripe or PayPal account? → No. Beam handles all transactions and payouts directly.
When will I get paid? → Beam pays out all completed sessions at the end of each month.
Can I use my company details for payouts? → Yes. Tick "This payment is for a company" when filling in your payment details.
Is my payment information public? → No. Your payment details are confidential and never visible on your profile.
Can I edit my payment details later? → Yes. You can update them anytime in Settings.
What happens if there's a payment issue? → If your bank details are incorrect or a transfer fails, Beam will notify you by email so you can update your information.
